It is with sadness that the news of the passing of LYNETTE HARDAWAY, “Diamond” from the duo “Diamond and Silk”, is confirmed. The confirmation was made in a post on their official Facebook page on Monday evening.
“A True Angel and Patriot Warrior for Freedom, Love, and Humanity has left the World! The post included a photo of Hardaway and then said, “Diamond blazed a trail, founded on her love and devotion for the entire race of humanity. The post also contained a link to a Christian crowdfunding website where Herneitha Rochelle Hardaway Richardson, also known as “Silk,” will be taking donations.
At present, the reason for Hardaway’s demise is as yet undetermined; sources declare Diamond and Silk was 51 years old.
On Monday, former president Donald Trump announced the sad news of Hardaway’s passing on his Truth Social account. He wrote, “Really awful news for Republicans and really, ALL Americans.” At her home in the state she cherished so much, North Carolina, “our beautiful Recently, Diamond, of Diamond and Silk, passed away. Silk was there at her death as well as afterwards, he said. A stronger Team has never been, anyplace! Diamond’s loss came as a total shock; most likely, her huge and priceless HEART simply gave out. Our Magnificent Diamond, rest in peace. You will be dearly missed.
